Make a 2p coin disappear in a flash.
Place a £2 and a 2p coin in your hand visible to the spectator. Close your hand give it a shake and open it up again and the 2p has disappeared.

Perfect for coin through coaster into glass as 2p will magnetically attract to an ordinary 2p.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Perfectly constructed. I don’t believe that any spectator inspecting this could see through the method. The instructions say the gimmick can be reset with a magnet or piece of metal. I found that you need a magnet, so I carry a small magnet with me (but separate from the gimmicked coin so that no damage is done.) I keep this coin unique in a little pull string bag inside a gift box so I don’t spend it by mistake. I am delighted with this product. It is very reasonably priced, especially considering the outstanding quality. I think the size is better than the £1 and penny coin unique. I was tempted to save up for the rather expensive £2 and 50p version, but I am more than satisfied with the £2 and 2p version. The colour contrast between the two coins is good. I was also pleased to discover that the £2 part of the gimmick can be used as a non-expanded shimmed shell for PK ring and coin transformation (i.e. of a £2 into a non-magnetic coin of a different denomination in the hand of a spectator.) I also like to use this inside a little crystal box (you get one if you by a certain brand of ear plugs in Boots) on top of a card and glass (with an extra 2p piece of the right year so that it is magnetic) – looks as if the £2p coin visually melts through the crystal box and card and drops into the glass. Everything can then be inspected.

I received this last week and visually this performs well, but I am, however, a little disappointed with the quality: once fitted together there is a small but discernible residual movement sideways between the 2 half’s which would preclude anything but a cursory visual examination by an audience. I have several other versions of this trick in both older or foreign currency and none of these display this movement when examined. Either the machining sizes have too great a tolerance or the magnet is too weak to prevent this movement, or a combination of both.
i have emailed the seller twice to inquire whether this is a ‘rogue’ item and, if so, whether i could exchange, but the lack of response leads me to conclude this is not the case. So understand before you purchase that any close inspection will reveal the method.
