This is superbly made. I checked it on my very intuitive and determined adult daughter and her husband and neither could work out ‘how I’d done it’ (put £2 and 2p in a glass and swirled it so 2p disappeared). The seam is really well done. Very pleased and impressed.

Fantastic little gimmic made perfectly out of real coins, very very close inspection is needed to smell a rat! Better quality than 2p/10p probably due to size. You could very easily spend it by mistake which made me wonder how many are accidentally in circulation, you’d never realise if you got one in your change!

I received this last week and visually this performs well, but I am, however, a little disappointed with the quality: once fitted together there is a small but discernible residual movement sideways between the 2 half’s which would preclude anything but a cursory visual examination by an audience. I have several other versions of this trick in both older or foreign currency and none of these display this movement when examined. Either the machining sizes have too great a tolerance or the magnet is too weak to prevent this movement, or a combination of both.
i have emailed the seller twice to inquire whether this is a ‘rogue’ item and, if so, whether i could exchange, but the lack of response leads me to conclude this is not the case. So understand before you purchase that any close inspection will reveal the method.
