You show the coin slide with a coin inside it, you close it and then open it again and its disappeared! The spectator can even close it to make it disappear.

Good value and well worth having but, if you like this effect, it might be worth looking out for one built a bit more robustly. I bought this for one of my little grand daughters as part of her first magic kit. It is very easy to do and is perfect for little magician’s starting out but really needs some good patter and follow up with another trick with the same coin to “take the heat off” the coin slide. Therefore, I taught my budding little magician to do an appearance instead of a vanish. I tried to use a £1 coin. That’s the right diameter but too thick. It sort of works but the coin slide parts tend to come unclipped. 20p or 10p coins are perfect and no problems when these are used.
